One year ago today we received the call every parent hopes they never get. "Your son was in a car accident. You need to get to the hospital". Thousands of miles away our son was fighting for his life. Doctors told us he had the severest form of TBI, Diffused axonal injury and shearing of the brain stem. He may not live. Time will tell.

We waited and prayed. We looked for signs of hope and found it when sharing our story with other brain injury survivors. You can follow Mikes's recovery on his video here Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor.
