What do you think about a former military veteran claiming (falsely) that an injury suffered from a grenade explosion in Afghanistan resulted in Traumatic Brain Injury and gave him a stutter? The audience was in tears as he sang a country tune...off-key, and, of course, the judges passed him through to the next round. Today, after a further examination of his military record, it turns out there was no truth to his story of injury in combat. In fact, Poe served in the Minnesota National Guard as a supply specialist, and officials confirm he was not injured in combat, nor did he receive a Purple Heart.

It's sad that when so many of you are fighting everyday to overcome the REAL consequences of TBI, this faker goes on national TV and causes the plight of true TBI survivors to be questioned. It's just unconscionable.
